2.5.1. STATUTES: The statutes of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Free Zone were approved by Ministerial Order EHA / 93/2006 of January 18, which authorized the establishment of a Free Zone Control Type II in the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The statutes were published in the Official State Gazette on August 10, 2006.
Subsequently, the statutes were amended by Ministerial Order HAP/356/2015, of February 24, by means of which the Municipality of Granadilla de Abona was formally incorporated into the ZFT Consortium. The publication of the final statutes in the Official State Gazette took place on March 3, 2015.
2.5.2. INTERNAL FREE ZONE RULES OF PROCEDURE: The internal Rules of Procedure for managing and operating the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Free Zone, was approved by means of RESOLUTION of 13 October 2006, by the Customs and Excise Department of the Official Spanish Tax Administration Authority (AEAT).
